CCW PRACTICAL SKILLS
Train. Shoot. Improve.
Defensive Handgun Training & Practice
TEMPORARY INTRODUCTORY PRICE: $40

Your CCW course shouldn’t be the last time you train.
CCW Practical Skills is a twice-monthly, instructor-guided handgun training and practice program designed for CCW holders and responsible, defense-minded shooters who want to continue developing their abilities beyond a basic handgun, CCW, or qualification course.

Each session provides structured practice focused on developing safe gun-handling habits, efficiency, accuracy, confidence, and a defensive mindset.

This is an ongoing skills-development program, not a one-time course. Training topics and drills may change from session to session, allowing participants to continue practicing, receive instructor feedback, identify areas for improvement, and build their abilities over time.

IS CCW PRACTICAL SKILLS RIGHT FOR ME?
CCW Practical Skills is designed for shooters who already possess a working knowledge of handgun safety, operation, and basic marksmanship.

Participants should be comfortable safely handling and operating their own handgun and should have prior handgun training or shooting experience.

You do not need to currently hold a CCW permit to participate.

This program may be a good fit if you:
-
Currently hold a CCW permit and want continued training and practice
-
Are preparing to obtain a CCW permit and already have handgun experience
-
Have completed prior handgun training and want to continue developing your skills
-
Want structured practice and instructor feedback rather than simply spending time shooting on your own
NEW TO FIREARMS OR STILL DEVELOPING YOUR FUNDAMENTALS?
CCW Practical Skills is not intended as an introductory handgun course.

If you are new to firearms, not yet comfortable operating your handgun independently, or still need to develop basic safety and marksmanship fundamentals, we recommend starting with our Fundamental Handgun Course (Private) or New Shooters Workshop (Public/Group).

These programs provide a supportive introduction to firearm safety, handgun operation, safe handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and the skills necessary to progress into continued training.

Build the foundation. Then keep building.
PLEASE COME PREPARED
Participants should inspect their firearm, magazines, holster, ammunition, and other equipment before arriving.

The LGR Pro Shop will not be open during these training sessions. Ammunition, magazines, holsters, eye and ear protection, and other equipment will not be available for purchase once the session begins.

Missing required equipment may prevent or limit participation in portions of the training.
