LGR Action Range Program
(LGR-ARP)
Train. Practice. Build Your Skills.

The LGR Action Range Program (ARP) provides qualified competitive shooters with access to designated action shooting bays at Linden Gun Range for independent practice and skills development.

The program is designed for experienced shooters who have demonstrated safe firearm handling, understand competitive shooting range procedures, and are prepared to practice independently in a controlled action-range environment.

ARP is not an introductory shooting program. Participants must meet the eligibility requirements below and complete the LGR Action Range Program orientation before receiving access.

ARP Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the LGR Action Range Program, you must:

-
Hold an eligible LGR membership or LCSC Competitor status
-
Maintain a current USPSA classification of D Class or higher
-
Maintain a current NROI Range Officer (RO) certification
-
Demonstrate appropriate firearm-handling proficiency and a strong understanding of range safety
-
Complete the required LGR Action Range Program Orientation
-
Agree to follow all LGR Action Range Program policies, procedures, and restrictions
Eligibility and current credentials are subject to verification by LGR.

Not Yet an NROI Range Officer?
NROI Range Officer certification is an important part of the ARP qualification process. The RO course provides participants with the knowledge necessary to understand USPSA safety rules, range commands, stage procedures, and safe action-shooting practices.

Once the required qualifications have been completed, you may begin the LGR Action Range Program orientation process.
ARP Orientation
All new ARP participants must complete the LGR Action Range Program Orientation before receiving access to the program.

ARP Initiation & Orientation Fee
$25 one-time initiation fee
The initiation fee includes your required ARP orientation.
During orientation, we will review the LGR-specific procedures you need to safely and properly use the Action Range, including:
-
Action Range rules and restrictions
-
Bay layouts and designated practice areas
-
Scheduling and available ARP dates
-
Range check-in procedures
-
Bay access procedures
-
Approved equipment and target placement
-
Range-specific safety requirements
-
Practice restrictions
-
Bay etiquette and responsibilities
-
Setup and cleanup expectations
-
Procedures for entering and leaving the Action Range
Completion of an NROI RO course does not automatically provide ARP access. The ARP orientation covers the facility-specific procedures and policies required to use LGR's Action Range independently.
How ARP Access Works
ARP access is available only during designated Action Range Program dates and times published by Linden Gun Range.

Action bays are not available for unscheduled individual access simply because a participant has completed ARP orientation.

Qualified ARP participants should:

-
Check the LGR Range Calendar for scheduled ARP dates.
-
Arrive and complete the required LGR check-in procedure.
-
Use only the bays designated for ARP use that day.
-
Follow all posted and communicated Action Range rules.
-
Properly set up, maintain, and clean the bay during use.
-
Return the bay to the required condition before leaving.
Bay availability may vary based on matches, training courses, maintenance, range operations, and other scheduled activities.

In some circumstances, LGR may coordinate additional practice opportunities outside published ARP dates in advance. These opportunities are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be approved before arriving at the range.
