Program Development Notice
The LGR Peace Officer Membership Program is a new program currently in the final stages of development. As we finalize scheduling, procedures, eligibility requirements, and program operations, we may update or modify some information on this page before the program’s official launch.

We are excited to bring this new opportunity to our Peace Officer community and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the final details. Our goal is to launch a well-organized program that provides meaningful membership benefits and expanded training opportunities while maintaining LGR’s standards for safety and responsible range use.

Linden Gun Range is excited to introduce a new membership and training opportunity designed specifically for current, active Peace Officers.
​
We know your skills are perishable. Practicing once a month is barely enough to keep those skills fresh. Our goal is to make it easier and more affordable for Peace Officers to get meaningful range time while creating additional opportunities for those who want to expand their practice beyond the limitations of a traditional public firing line.
​
The program begins with our special LGR P.O. Introductory Membership, with an optional pathway to earn access to designated LGR Action Ranges.

LGR P.O. Introductory Membership
One Year Unlimited — $225
Available September 1 through December 31, 2026
The LGR P.O. Introductory Membership is the starting point for our new Peace Officer Membership Program.
​
For a limited time, qualifying new LGR members who are current, active Peace Officers may purchase their first year of membership for $225 — a $100 savings from our regular $325 LGR Unlimited Annual Membership.
​
We've added this special introductory pricing through the end of 2026 to encourage Peace Officers to join LGR, train more regularly, and help us grow this new program.
​
With regular public range entry at $27 per visit, just 9 visits cover the cost of your introductory membership.

Come out, check in for the public range with no range entry fee, pick up your discounted Range-Use Ammunition, and put in the practice time needed to maintain your skills.

Eligibility & In-Person Enrollment
The LGR P.O. Introductory Membership must be purchased in person at the LGR Pro Shop and is available exclusively to qualifying new LGR members who are current, active Peace Officers.
​
At enrollment, applicants must provide current documentation verifying active Peace Officer status.
​
Acceptable documentation may include:

Current department or agency-issued Peace Officer identification or credentials

Current department-issued identification showing sworn or Peace Officer status

Current agency credentials accompanied by a government-issued photo ID
-
Current department or agency verification of active Peace Officer employment

Other current official documentation accepted by LGR as sufficient verification of active Peace Officer status
Retired or former Peace Officer credentials do not currently qualify for this membership.

LGR reserves the right to request additional verification when documentation does not sufficiently establish current, active Peace Officer status.

Your Membership Has Value With or Without Action Range Access
The LGR P.O. Introductory Membership stands on its own.
​
Participation in the Peace Officer Action Range portion of the program is completely optional and is not required to receive the full benefits or value of your membership.
​
You may simply use your membership to train regularly on LGR's public ranges, enjoy $0 range entry, receive applicable member discounts, and take advantage of the other benefits provided to LGR Unlimited Members.

For Peace Officers interested in additional practical training opportunities, however, we're providing another pathway:

The Opportunity to Earn LGR Action Range Access
Action Range access is an earned privilege, not an automatic benefit of purchasing a Peace Officer membership.
​
Optional Peace Officer Action Range Orientation & Skills Evaluation
​
Please Note: Once the LGR Peace Officer Action Range Program (LGR-PO-ARP) officially launches and Action Range Orientation & Skills Evaluation sessions become available, we will email all LGR Peace Officer Members with program details and a link to register for an upcoming session.

One-Time Fee — $40
​
Peace Officers interested in earning access to designated LGR PO Action Ranges may complete the LGR Peace Officer Action Range Orientation & Skills Evaluation.
​
The session provides an opportunity to review LGR Action Range rules, procedures, and expectations and to demonstrate the safe firearm-handling skills and fundamentals required for independent Action Range access.
​
During the session, we will:

Review Action Range safety rules

Review permitted activities and restrictions

Review procedures and expectations for independent Action Range use

Evaluate safe firearm handling and fundamental skills
-
Explain Action Range scheduling and availability
-
Answer questions before access is granted
​
If additional development is needed in any area of firearm safety, handling, or fundamental skills, Action Range access will not be granted at that time.
​
Instead, we will provide guidance and identify additional training or practice pathways to help address those areas and prepare you for reevaluation.
​
Our goal is to provide a clear pathway toward approval while ensuring that every member granted independent Action Range access has demonstrated the safety, skills, and judgment required to use these ranges responsibly.
​
You May Complete the Evaluation Before Joining
You may register for and complete the Orientation & Skills Evaluation before purchasing an LGR membership.
​
Successful completion will establish your eligibility for Peace Officer Action Range privileges once the appropriate LGR membership is active.
​
Participation in the Orientation & Skills Evaluation remains optional and is not required to receive the full benefits of the LGR P.O. Introductory Membership.

Orientation Schedule
The LGR Peace Officer Action Range Orientation & Skills Evaluation will be offered on select Fridays, based on instructor and range availability.

Once orientation dates are finalized and posted, this section will be updated with available session dates, additional registration information, and a direct link to register for the LGR Peace Officer Action Range Orientation & Skills Evaluation.
In the meantime, you can still apply for the LGR P.O. Introductory Membership at the special reduced rate of $225 and begin taking advantage of your membership starting September 1, 2026. You do not need to wait for orientation registration to become available to get started.

Peace Officer Action Range Access
We recognize that our public ranges necessarily come with rules and restrictions, including no drawing from the holster.
We also understand that Peace Officers may want opportunities to practice skills that cannot be accommodated on a traditional public firing line.
​
Peace Officers who successfully complete the required Orientation & Skills Evaluation and receive approval may earn access to designated LGR Action Range bays, where authorized practice can include drawing and working from the holster.
​
Whether you're stopping in while on duty for a focused practice session or setting aside dedicated training time, our goal is to make relevant, consistent practice more accessible.
​
Thursday & Friday Action Range Access
To launch the program responsibly, independent Peace Officer Action Range opportunities will initially be offered on Thursdays and Fridays, subject to posted bay availability and LGR requirements.
​
These are not organized training sessions. Approved members may utilize designated Action Range bays during posted access periods for individual practice.
​
The entry fee to Access the LGR PO Action Range is $10 per entry, whereas entry to the public ranges will remain $0.
​
Available dates, times, and bays will be posted on the LGR Range Calendar. We will review the process for checking availability and accessing the designated ranges during orientation.
​
Need a Weekend Option?
We understand that Thursday and Friday access will not work for everyone's schedule.
​
LGR also plans to offer designated LGR Peace Officer Range Sessions on select Saturdays or Sundays when Action Range bays and appropriate staff are available.
​
LGR will provide advance notice when a weekend Peace Officer Range Session is scheduled.
​
During these sessions, approved Peace Officer Members may utilize the designated Action Range for practice while an LGR-approved certified RSO or Instructor is present and overseeing the range for the duration of the scheduled session.

Weekend Peace Officer Range Sessions will:

Depend on Action Range bay and staff availability

Be announced in advance

Be overseen by an LGR-approved certified RSO or Instructor

Be available to members who have earned Peace Officer Action Range privileges

Weekend sessions are not guaranteed on a recurring schedule and will be offered as range availability, staffing, enrollment, and participation allow.

This is only the beginning.
Our initial Thursday and Friday Action Range availability is intended to give us a responsible starting point for the program.
As enrollment and participation grow, additional Action Range opportunities may become available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Your Path to the LGR Peace Officer Action Membership
Peace Officers joining during our 2026 introductory period can begin with:
LGR P.O. Introductory Membership — $225
This introductory membership provides one full year of LGR Unlimited Membership benefits at our special reduced price, with the option to complete the LGR Peace Officer Action Range Orientation & Skills Evaluation and earn Action Range privileges.

You do not need to complete the Orientation & Skills Evaluation to take advantage of the introductory membership. The Action Range portion of the program is optional.
​
When your introductory membership comes up for renewal, your membership pathway will depend on whether you have earned and maintain Peace Officer Action Range privileges.

If You Have Earned & Maintain Action Range Privileges

Beginning January 1, 2027, current, active Peace Officers who have successfully completed the LGR Peace Officer Action Range
Orientation & Skills Evaluation and have earned and maintain Action Range privileges will be eligible for:

This annual membership includes all standard LGR Unlimited Membership benefits while maintaining your Peace Officer Action Membership designation and continued eligibility for approved Peace Officer program opportunities, including:

Action Range access remains subject to posted availability, continued eligibility, LGR rules, and program requirements.
The distinction is simple: the LGR Peace Officer Action Membership designation identifies a current Peace Officer who has completed LGR's required process and currently holds Peace Officer Action Range privileges.

That's okay. The Action Range portion of this program is optional.

Peace Officers who choose not to complete the Orientation & Skills Evaluation, have not yet earned approval, or no longer maintain Action Range privileges may continue their LGR membership by selecting one of our standard Unlimited Membership options:

LGR Unlimited Monthly Membership — $32.99/month

Both provide the applicable benefits of an LGR Unlimited Membership.
However, a standard LGR Unlimited Membership does not signify or provide Peace Officer Action Range authorization.
Monthly memberships remain subject to LGR's standard Monthly Membership terms, including the applicable minimum commitment and recurring payment requirements.

Introductory Pricing Is Available for a Limited Time
The LGR P.O. Introductory Membership will be available for purchase beginning September 1, 2026, and will remain unavailable in our membership selection options until then.

The special $225 introductory price is available September 1 through December 31, 2026.
​
We've created this introductory pricing to encourage enrollment and participation as we launch the Peace Officer Membership Program and begin developing additional opportunities for our Peace Officer Members.
​
Beginning in 2027, the Peace Officer program will continue, but the $225 introductory promotional rate will no longer be available.
​
Peace Officers who have successfully completed the required Orientation & Skills Evaluation and meet the program requirements may enroll in the LGR Peace Officer Action Membership at $325 per year beginning January 1, 2027.

The LGR P.O. Introductory Membership is available exclusively to qualifying new LGR members who are currently employed as active Peace Officers. You must provide current agency credentials or other acceptable proof of active Peace Officer status.

Action Range access is an earned privilege and is not guaranteed by membership, registration for an Orientation & Skills Evaluation, or payment of the applicable fee. Action Range privileges and Peace Officer Range Sessions remain subject to successful completion of LGR's required evaluation process, continued eligibility, bay and staff availability, designated access periods, LGR rules and safety requirements, and continued safe conduct.

The LGR Peace Officer Action Membership is an annual membership. Members must maintain current Peace Officer eligibility and LGR Action Range privileges to remain eligible for the Peace Officer Action Membership designation. Loss of eligibility or Action Range privileges may require transition to an appropriate standard LGR Unlimited Membership.
