Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT ARE YOUR I.D. REQUIREMENTS?

All shooters and non-shooters must check-in at the range office.  Valid Government issued photo ID is required for all persons visiting the range without exception ie; DMV issued Drivers License, DMV issued Identification card, Passport, Military ID.

HOW MANY SHOOTERS PER LANE?

​A maximum of 4 shooters are allowed to use a single shooting lane, with only 1 shooter at a time allowed on the firing line.



WHAT IS THE COST FOR SPECTATORS?
Spectators / non-shooters are welcome on the range at a cost of $5 per person.  Eyes and hearing protection are required 25 feet from the firing line.

 

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

We recommend that you wear shorts, pants, and appropriate fitting tops.  Open-toe footwear, loose shirts, tank tops, and skirts are highly discouraged. Hot casings from firearms may become lodged in loose clothing, causing a safety issue and unnecessary bodily injury. 

 

ARE CELL PHONES ALLOWED?

For safety reasons, texting / talking on a cell phone is prohibited on the firing line and all adjacent walkways.  You may use your phone to take pictures of shooters. PLEASE no selfies while handling firearms!

 

DO YOU RENT GUNS?

We do not offer firearm rentals at this time.


IS THERE FOOD ON-SITE?

We do have portable snacks and drinks available for purchase inside the LGR ProShop.

 

WHAT IS THE RATE OF FIRE?

7.5 - 100 yard range:

2 seconds between each round.

200 yard range:

4 seconds between each round.

We do not allow rapid fire on the range.

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD?

Yes. There are picnic tables in select areas throughout the range. Charcoal BBQ's are also available to use. We suggest that you always wash your hands after handling any firearms. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON THE RANGE PROPERTY. We thank you in advance for cleaning up after yourselves.

 

DO YOU SELL RANGE SUPPLIES?

YES.  The range office stocks the following items:

  • Eye / ear protection

  • Chamber flags

  • Paper targets (sighting, precision, zombies, etc.)

  • Rifle rests / sandbags (rental)

  • Spotting scopes (rental)
     

DO YOU SELL AMMUNITION?

NO. We currently do not sell ammunition. Please bring enough ammo for your range use.

Please note, due to Covid-19 some suppliers have drastically cut back on production of certain items and may not be available for purchase at this time.

 

ARE PETS ALLOWED AT THE RANGE?

Documented service animals are welcome on range, but must remain in an area safe from the noise and heat. If you are a K-9 Handler, please contact LGR staff ahead of your visit for approval.

 

DO YOU ALLOW AK/AR PISTOLS?

We do not allow AK/AR Pistols. More info click HERE.

 

AM I ALLOWED TO DRAW FROM THE HOLSTER WHEN SHOOTING?

NO. All firearms must start from the firing bench and end on the firing bench.  No holstered or slung firearms on the firing line.

 

Drawing from the holster and/or concealment is ONLY authorized in a supervised training environment or during supervised competitions.

 

CAN I COLLECT ANY BRASS FOUND ON THE RANGE?

We allow for you to pick up your own spent brass off of the firing line. Please do not pick up brass that doesn't belong to you.
