There’s no getting around it — these are the Four Rules that everything else is built on.

They’re universal. No matter where you are, what kind of firearm you’re handling, or how experienced you are, these rules always apply.

You’ll hear them from a Range Safety Officer on the Public Line, on the first day of a class, at every course, and likely again at your tenth match or your hundredth day on the range.

Why?

Because they work — and because they never stop mattering.

Before visiting your local range, we encourage you to slide through the Four Rules below to refresh your safety mindset. A quick review helps ensure you arrive focused, prepared, and aligned with the safety standards that keep everyone on the range safe.
