08/05/2022 Basic Pistol Shooting Course

Go to https://www.level1firearms.com/ to register for this class. The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course teaches the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and handling a pistol safely and responsibly. This class is directed toward first-time pistol owner who wants to learn how their gun works, how to use it safely, and how to store, clean, and maintain their firearm. This course is an excellent refresher course for those who have never attended a formal classroom training environment. Prerequisite: NONE. 08/06/2022 Basic Instructor Training

Register on our website: https://www.level1firearms.com/ The NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) course is sponsored by Level 1 Firearms Training. This is a 6+ hour objective-based prerequisite class required before taking instructor-level courses. BIT is not a certification course but rather a class on a teaching methodology that will be applied to any NRA skill or discipline you become certified to teach in the future: Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, Home Firearm Safety, Range Safety, CCW, and Defensive Pistol. 08/07/2022 Basic Pistol Instructor Certification

Register on our website: https://www.level1firearms.com. This is the first in a series of nationally recognized instructor certification classes. This Basics of Pistol Shooting Instructor Course teaches you the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to conduct a pistol class. If you do not have a Basic Instructor Training Certification (BIT) from the NRA, you must attend the Saturday class (for an additional fee) before attending this course. If taking your BIT (within the last two years), you do not need to follow the Saturday class and may take this course. Before attending this course, you must complete the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Student and Basic Instructor Training Course. See our site for additional information or call 208-957-6900.

 

08/08/2022 Basics of Personal Protection in the Home - Student

This is the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course, which teaches law-abiding citizens the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to safeguard and protect their homes from intruders. This class is open to anyone who wants to attend and is also a prerequisite course for the Personal Protection in the Home Instructor Course. This class is part of the week-long instructor classes to certify instructors to apply for a Concealed Carry instructor. Prerequisites: NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Class. 09/09/2022 Basics of Personal Protection in the Home – Instructor

This certifies the instructor to teach the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course, which teaches law-abiding citizens how to safeguard and protect their homes. This class is also part of a week-long “Hell Week” instructor series to meet state requirements to teach Concealed Carry Classes. Prerequisites: NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Student, NRA Basics of Instructor Training (BIT) within the past two years, Personal Protection in the Home Student class. This NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Course teaches law-abiding citizens how to protect themselves and their families in public and while traveling. Conceal carry concepts, legal lecture “Firearms and the law,”; presenting and holstering methods are explored. This class is also part of a week-long “Hell Week” instructor series to meet state requirements to teach Concealed Carry Classes. Prerequisites: NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Course. 08/11/2022 – 08/12/2022 Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home – Instructor

Register on our site at: https://www.level1firearms.com/ *Actual course time is approximately 9 am - 8 pm with an additional day. This is the NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor Course certifies firearms instructors to teach law-abiding citizens how to protect themselves and their loved ones when in public. This class is also one of the required classes in a week-long “Hell Week” series to become qualified as a certified CCW instructor. Prerequisites: NRA Basics of Instructor Training (BIT) within the past two years, NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor, Personal Protection Outside the Home Student. 08/13/2022 Basics of Range Safety Officer

The NRA Range Safety Officer course teaches the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to conduct organized shooting events. The RSO is responsible for enforcing range safety rules and standard operating procedures, conducting briefing sessions, and other general range operations. This class is open to the public and is also one of the classes in a week-long “Hell week” series to become qualified to teach CCW classes. Prerequisites: NONE. 08/14/2022 Basics of Chief Range Safety Officer

Register on our site at: https://www.level1firearms.com/. The NRA Chief Range Officer course teaches the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to conduct and train Basic Range Safety Officers. The CRSO, under the direction of management or range owners, is responsible for creating range safety rules, site-specific rules, a standard operating procedure document, and more.
