Dear LGR Members,                                                                                                                     September 1, 2021

“Safety Above All” is something that we take incredibly seriously at Linden Gun Range; always have. We are adhering to Federal, State, County, and City recommendations and requirements as we strive to help protect our customers and range staff. We are providing our staff facts about COVID-19 and reminding them to practice simple yet effective steps to keep them safe. We are disinfecting our facilities and equipment as appropriate. We also encourage our staff to take any signs of illness seriously and to seek medical attention as needed.

Note: If you or a family member has traveled internationally within the last month or have/ had a fever, persistent cough, or have been experiencing shortness of breath within the last 2 weeks, we ask that you please STAY HOME.

LGR will be working diligently to provide a clean and sanitary environment. However, we highly recommend the use of face coverings and gloves whenever deemed appropriate. Please bring personal hand sanitizer and cleaning products so that each individual does their part to maintain a clean space for their co-members. A sanitized shooting mat or towel for the shooting bench will also be required by each member. Be mindful and responsible.

Please help everyone remain safe by following the CDC guidelines.

We are in the process of implementing changes to our memberships under a locally based, fully approved and the operational non-profit organization known as Protecting Soldiers Rights (PSR). Under this new management plan, LGR will be able to bring the facility to its full potential with the continued support of our members. Membership dues are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE. And as a STAR volunteering PSR member, you will have the opportunity to receive a lower annual rate the following calendar year; as well as the ability to earn a FREE membership!

Many of you will have questions about rolling over to PSR membership and how the range will change because of it. We want to assure you that the range will remain the same, just more community-oriented and with tremendous opportunity to expand with the help of a Non Profit. We will be addressing these specifics further, as soon as we can.

We will continue to open bays for practices. Competitions are still being worked out but we plan to open it back up in a way that meets the recommendations of the CDC, and most importantly, provides protection to our competitors. We also anticipate our first matches to be open to members only.  A separate email will be sent to members regarding updated operating procedures once they have been finalized.

We will be opening up to our training companies with new restrictions and requirements for facilities use. We will be contacting them as soon as possible with updates.

With the recent growth in new firearm ownership, we anticipate starting a program to provide a 2 Hours Basic Firearms Safety and Range Etiquette program for those that are new to firearms and ranges.

Monday's are reserved for Member's Only, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Members can access LGR every Thursday-Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The last shots fired at 4:45 p.m. each day.

Public access is Thursday - Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear face coverings while indoors. While on range, face coverings are not required - however you may wear a face covering at your discretion. Please practice safe social distancing at all times while on the facility.

  • If there is a group currently in the LGR Office, please wait outside on a designated ‘X’ to maintain safe social distancing recommendations. Office surfaces are frequently sanitized throughout the day for your safety.

  • LGR Liability Waivers must be completed BEFORE arriving on the range and are only required ONCE a calendar year. Best practice is to complete your waivers at home. iPads will ONLY be available if you do not have access to a smartphone/device.

  • As mentioned previously, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that shooters/groups wear face coverings and provide their own hand sanitizer/disinfectant to use liberally while on the range, during ceasefires, target changes, and before/after using facilities.

  • ALL members of a group must stay together and practice social distancing from those not in your group.

  • Once on the range, all non-shooters in a group must stay behind the red designated line, located directly behind the shooter of your group. When social distancing together, one adult and one youth or two adults at a bench are acceptable for safety and training purposes.

  • Firing bench surfaces must be protected by a clean shooting mat or towel - provided by the shooter/firearm owner.

  • In order to protect our staff, Range Safety Officers will use a “projected voice” in order to maintain social distances. It is imperative that each member stay alert, listen, and respect their RSO’s in order to maintain a safe working environment for everyone on the firing line.

  • We ask that everyone adhere to the CDC guidelines.

  • We will revisit and adjust procedures as deemed necessary.

  • Range Safety Officers may be trying to project their voices so they can maintain safe distances. Not all loud communication is a warning or disciplinary but be mindful of their instructions.

In closing, we are proud to be recognized as an essential business during these times and are able to continue operating to provide a safe establishment where we can exercise our Second Amendment rights. We understand that these are unprecedented times and we call upon our members and staff to help keep our doors open. Please be patient with us and with each other as we work through these challenges together. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding and look forward to seeing you back on the range!
